About La Bhutanz Tours
La Bhutanz Tours is a Mumbai based travel agency that plans personalized trips to one destination only: Bhutan. We work directly with licensed Bhutan based partners and guides to design itineraries built around each traveller, not sold off a shelf.
Why does a travel agency focus on just one country?
Bhutan does not reward generalists. It runs on a permit system, a slower pace, and a culture that only opens up properly when you are guided by people who actually understand it. Spreading attention across ten destinations makes that kind of depth impossible. We chose depth instead of range.
Who actually plans your trip on the ground?
We work with licensed Bhutan based partners and guides who live there year round. They know which valley is quiet this week and which festival is worth shifting your dates for. Your itinerary is not pulled from a catalogue. It is built by people standing in the country you are about to visit.
What is the story behind La Bhutanz Tours?
La Bhutanz Tours grew out of a Mumbai based travel group with a long background in personalized travel planning. That experience shapes how every Bhutan itinerary gets built, around the traveller first and never around a fixed package.
Who do we build these trips for?
Families who want a trip that means something together. Small groups of friends looking for a proper Himalayan escape, not another beach holiday. Photographers and meditation seekers who want more than a checklist of sights. Corporate groups who want a destination people actually remember.
The approach stays the same for every one of them. Understand what you actually want from Bhutan first. Build the trip around that. Never the other way round.
Is La Bhutanz Tours a Bhutan tour operator based in Bhutan?
No. La Bhutanz Tours is a Bhutan specialist travel agency based in Mumbai. We are not a licensed Bhutan destination management company. We work directly with licensed Bhutan based partners and guides who handle everything on the ground, so you get local expertise without losing the convenience of planning from India.
